Now what?

Yes, I have postpartum Marathon blues.  I’m not as motivated to run now that I haven’t signed up for a another race.  Since the marathon the longest distance I have run is 6 miles.  I did run 7 miles in one weekend but that was in two days! (I ran my fastest 5k at 30 minutes (A solid 10 min mile!) I have enjoyed not stressing over running.  I ran the other day without a watch which was fantastic….I just enjoyed the run.  Anything under 26 miles is a breeze!  But, I do need to start being a bit more consistent…meaning…if I’m going eat…i need to run!

I will be running this weekend…8 miles is my goal.  Angie signed up for a 1/2 marathon in February in Myrtle Beach and is still running pretty strong, but I’m trying to save money…..so I’m going to try and have the inagural Jenn B. Williams North Raleigh Half Marathon the same weekend…….

My 26.2 sticker on my car still makes me smile!
