Alexander Supertramp!

I’m not making this a movie review blog…but a movie soundtrack review blog….I recently watched the movie Into The Wild (Directed by Sean Penn) a few days ago.  Growing up outdoors and always inspiring to be less “soceity” driven and trying to live in the moment….movies like this always inspire me.  The actors and Sean Penn were on Oprah one day discussing the movie and the true story it was based on and I was hooked…not only to be outdone by one of my all-time favorite band lead singers …..Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam….who writes/performs the entire soundtrack.  This movie is kind of like Titantic…you kind of know how it’s going to end….but it’s a wonderful and inspiring journey none-the-less.

Eddie won a grammy this year for the song “Guaranteed”

Anyway, if you have a chance to watch the movie…I would do it…or at least take a moment to reflect with some of the songs on the soundtrack.

I’ve pulled this video from YouTube (of course) which gives a good taste of the video & music.  Enjoy.

Oh - you have to watch the movie to understand the title of my blog :-)
